Stepping Out
Things here are pretty good now, attended a church called 10th avenue Church which is well.. on 10th avenue. It was pretty good, i quite enjoyed it. The speaker was the head of the Salvation Army in Canada, she looked like a real fierce woman, with uniform on and her hair tied up in a bun. Reminded me of dodgeball.. oops haha. But the msg was great, she was quite funny too.
Attending cg tmr. It's my friend's cg, and it's a pretty small one. It comprises of 2 couples and my friend, and now, me. Last week was the first time i went, and it was great. There wasn't any msg though, but there was a great testimony given by this guy who used to be a Muslim. He shared of how he was converted in jail, and his journey since then. It was real impactful. I'm looking forward to tmr.
It isn't only about me, finding a church and cg and staying spiritually strong. It's also about everyone else i'm in contact with here. So i'm starting a Christian fellowship group together with a friend(the same guy who brought me to cg), and it is open to anybody. It's not going to be easy though, cos i'm going to be leading it. Kinda nervous, and honestly, kinda scared, cos i don't think there was anything like this before. Gotta prepare man. Eh if anyone from saints is reading this, it's this thursday(day after tmr), after prep in Mr. Varro's place. Be there!
Now i'm eating grape biscuits.. the type which i used to eat whenever i went to Lucas' place. Finishing all his grape biscuits... haha... the memories.
